As the days get longer and the weather warms up, it’s time once again for the Clay Pigeon Events community to gather in the stunning Welsh countryside at Melin-Y-Wig, North Wales. After a winter break, we’re excited to welcome you back for another season of simulated game days — where challenging drives, beautiful scenery, and great company come together for a truly memorable experience.
We know many of you have been looking forward to getting back out in the field, and we’re ready to make this year’s events, days to remember.

As you already know, we take pride in offering a range of varied and exciting shooting drives. From our popular fast-moving grouse drive to authentic high-driven, there’s always something for everyone, no matter your experience level. We always like to mix things up a bit with different drives designed to challenge a variety of shooters and we are sure you'll enjoy the drives we have lined up.
We’ve worked hard to create drives that not only test your skills but keep the day exciting from start to finish.
3. A Warm Welcome Awaits
As always, when you join us at Clay Pigeon Events, you’ll be met with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. It’s not just about the shooting — it’s about catching up with old friends and making new ones. We’re a friendly bunch, and we look forward to seeing familiar faces return and welcoming new ones to our events. Our team is here to ensure you have a relaxed, enjoyable day in the field, so you can focus on what really matters — the shooting.
4. Great Hospitality After a Great Day’s Shooting
As always there will be great a plentiful hospitality laid on throughout the day from arrival, elevenses through to our hearty lunch in the field, while enjoying the beautiful scenery at Melin-Y-Wig.

Please note in 2025 our standard Sunday shoot days are £180.00 per Gun, with a 50% deposit of £90.00 required on booking per gun.
